Simon Foster

Simon Foster joined the TY Danjuma Family Office as CFO in May 2011. Simon qualified as an accountant with Ernst & Young and has 18 years of post- qualification experience in international investment environments. Mr Foster is an experienced Single Family Office CFO and has in excess of 15 years' experience acting in Director, Company Secretary and CFO capacities for three diverse family offices - private equity vehicles and their portfolio companies from bases in the UK and Bermuda.
Simon has twice been the architect for the initial creation of family office - private equity structures. Most recently he acted as interim Group Finance Director for Technis International PLC, a PLUS quoted technology and intellectual property consolidator, where was finance lead for the pending LSE Standard Listing. Mr Foster has extensive knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning and performance reporting including GAAP & Regulatory. Recent reporting experience includes public markets, FSA, BMA, US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS. Mr Foster is a qualified accountant and holds both the UK ACA and Canadian CA accounting designations in addition to a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. He also has extensive corporate finance and shareholder exit experience including IPOs, trade sales, mergers and acquisitions, structured finance and restructuring programs. He has acted as finance lead for in excess of 30 transactions throughout career.
